Nature’s Pride | A Frost Tree

Hello, Internet!

How are you doing today?

Here’s the view of today.

Pretty remarkable, isn’t it? It was such a humid night and ice cold morning that all of the trees around our apartment froze. And because there was absolutely no wind today – like, seriously, no wind – the trees stayed like this all of today. It was more than a magical atmosphere the entire day.

I’m so glad we got out to see it. Aaaand to run som errands but, that’s not half as exciting as this marvellous tree.

Swim cool.

Evening Cities And Overcooked Pasta

Oh well, Internet.

It’s a 1940s playlist night again. This time with an additional glass of whiskey.

What can I say? It’s been a crazy day and I’m sooooooo hungry!!!! God. Hm… Speaking of which, have I eaten since breakfast?

Argh! Linnéa! Get it together!

***running away***

***3 min***

I’m making pasta now. It’s really good, actually.

I had to cancel my book club-thing tonight so that I could finish a work task. I did finish it. I deserve an applause from myself. clap, clap, clap

Let’s switch the topic to something nicer! Like Stockholm in summertime in the evening, for instance:

So pretty!

How do you feel about cities in the evenings? I’ve always found it magical. Strolling alongside the water with clothes fluttering in the wind ~aaaaah

Can clothes “flutter” by the way? Or am I making up words again? Oh well.

I just love what cities turn into in the evenings, I think. It’s that time when people begin to walk home to get ready for the night/dinner/something of the like. Cities at night, however, I’m not so keen on.

Some cities can be right-down scary at night. Barcelona, for example. Although to be perfectly honest, I think we might have lived in an arguable neighborhood. Barcelona in the evening, on the contrary, was amazing! Some cities dress very well in an evening light.

In the summer evenings open-air-cafés are obviously the best, don’t you think? When you can sit with the sun all up in your face and the wind playing around and with you. And the sounds! I find the sounds at a café so soothing. Like a calm breeze of everything and nothing.

If you have nothing to talk about, you can listen to others speak. If you have a lot to talk about, the others’ speaking turn into white noise. It’s the perfect balance between annoyance and calming.

Sorry, I’ll stop my rambling here. I think it was the 1940s sounds playing that got me into the cities-in-the-evening-are-so-magical-mood.

NO! I forgot the pasta! Damn it! It’s definitely overcooked now… Perhaps if I drench it in olive oil? I’ll try it out.

I hope you’re having a lovely Thursday!

Swim cool and don’t overcook your pasta. It was freaking awful.
